AccuStandard’s pursuit of quality in both our products and our customer service has the highest level of commitment throughout the organization. That pursuit focuses our attention on continuous improvement. The corporate objective is that each person and each decision at AccuStandard, whether it concerns synthesis or facilities or another department, whether is concerns a product we ship or a technical answer we give, is focused on meeting or exceeding the customer’s expectation.
To keep that goal foremost in our daily lives, we have established procedures that encourage communications and thinking that is constructive, systemic, introspective, collaborative and constantly being compared to dynamic feedback from users, suppliers, employees and other stakeholders.
These procedures formalize and allow monitoring and iterative improvement of the cycle of products. There are two interactive processes. The production process goes from design of the product (formulation) through the synthesis and procurement of materials, to the production of the standard, and to analysis, and storage of the product. Testing is done at each step of this process.
The process of getting the product to the end user is separate but integrated. The first is to understand the capabilities of AccuStandard, to represent its capabilities to users, to select the product that meets the user’s requirements, to answer questions from the users (including the unasked questions), to educate the users when necessary on the product’s handling and storage to insure an optimal application of the product. Monitoring is done at each step of this process.
AccuStandard then performs regularly scheduled Non-Conformance Meetings where every customer dissatisfaction is examined using formal failure analysis. A root cause is identified and corrective action is taken to minimize the possibility of that dissatisfaction occurring again.
