Cyclic Volatile Methyl Siloxanes (cVMS) Standards - Single Component

AccuStandard now offers a variety of cVMS CRMs, including D4, D5, and D6 to support reliable identification and quantification of these substances in consumer products.

U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP) Standards - USP 467 and USP 561

We have added new CRMS for U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP) Methods. Our newest USP standards are single component solutions for USP 467 as well as a new, seven component pesticide solution for USP 561.

Pesticide Standards - ISO Draft Method 19254

New CRMs for Pesticides include standards designed for ISO Draft Method 19254, testing residual pesticides in soil using GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS analysis

Regulations for Cyclic Volatile Methyl Siloxanes (cVMS)

The European Union has placed restrictions on cVMS under REACH and EU Directive 2024/1328 due to their persistence and tendency to bioaccumulate. In personal care products, cVMS are commonly found in antiperspirants, lotions, and hair conditioners. In industrial applications, they are used in silicone fluids, lubricants, and other specialty formulations.

Publication - The Role of Certified Reference Materials in ASTM D4052

Read our new publication highlighting the role of CRMs in measuring density according to ASTM D4052. Developed by ASTM International, ASTM D4052 is the standard test method for measuring the density of petroleum products and related chemicals using the oscillating U-tube technique, a highly advanced and accurate principle.
